Truth has the structure of a fiction

  1. The Church says: the body is a sin.
Science says: the body is a machine.
Advertising says: The body is a business.
The Body says: I am a fiesta.

Here’s to celebrating self evident truth hidden in fiction! πŸ™‚

  2. This is a pictorial fiction of excellence. Certainly fire runs most wildly where there is oxygen… hearts, like fire, suffocate in closed jars… the intellectuals locked away Vaslav Nijinsky too…perhaps he was on fire and didn’t want to be closed up like a dancer in the void of their staged jewelry boxes. He said something like this: β€œVoglio danzare, disegnare, suonare il pianoforte, scrivere versi, io voglio amare tutti. Questo Γ¨ lo scopo della mia vita.” ― Vaslav Nijinsky Sorry about this off the wall comparison, but the man had a rich heritage… the word ‘anxiety’ coupled with the finesse of your photos must have sparked the thought.

    • I really appreciated your comment, even if I did not relate my post to Nijinsky.
Love has to do with our inner world: in consequence, it can be only experienced. I am not the generalist Nijinsky was, I can not say “voglio amare tutti”… not that generous, I am affraid. But here is my list: my son, life… my man, my job… and certain rememberances. Friends and other concepts are also welcome… but that is a different kind of “love”.

      Wish you a wonderful day!

      How were the exams?

      • You are so right about love and an inner world. And sometimes it’s a bit like being turned inside out too – where the seams of what really holds it together is evident from outside and doesn’t look all that ‘orderly’ at times πŸ™‚ This of course is only my personal experience. As for the exams… that experience has been not-so-orderly too, but I am getting through them, thank you. Only two more to go for this year. Have a wonderful weekend!
