So far, so good. The brilliant days and nights are breathless in their hurry. We follow, you and I.

No field of culture resonates with modern Italians more than cinema.

Sorrentino has a basic level of fluency and verve. Anything that this film-maker places in front of his camera is always arresting to some extent: there is a superb shot in which Fred and Mick spy on an elderly couple having sex in a forest: a shot replete with comedy, absurdity and alienation.

oh… pathos and sweetness!

  1. “This is how it ends:
    in death,
    But first there was life…
    Hidden beneath
    the Blah Blah Blah…

    ….Blah Blah Blah
    What lies beyond
    That is not my concern
    Therefore, let this novel begin
It is just a trick” Jep

    – the story is yours to write! πŸ˜‰

    • It is all settled beneath the the chitter chatter and the noise.

      Silence and sentiment.

      Emotion and Fear.

The haggard, inconstant flashes of beauty.
And then the wretched squalor and miserable humanity.

All buried under the cover of the embarrassment of being in the world. Beyond there is what lies beyond. I don’t deal with what lies beyond. Therefore, let this novel begin. After all it’s just a trick. Yes, just a trick.

      just a trick.

All my love:) and cheers to a great evening!

  2. I look forward to seeing “Youth” ~ the acting and story seems a perfect way to spend some down time.
Cheers to you Luana ~ I believe you are having a great start to the summer.
