Happen, with me…

Happen with me...

Does your weekend sound like this???

Eat the damn chocolate cake, get your hair wet, love someone, dance in those muddy puddles, tell someone off, draw a picture with crayons like you’re still 6 years old and then give it to someone who is very important to you. Take a nap, go on vacation, do a cartwheel, make your own recipe, dance like no one sees you, paint each nail a different color, take a bubble bath, laugh at a corny joke. Get on that table and dance, pick strawberries, take a jog, plant a garden, make an ugly shirt and wear it all day. Learn a new language, write a song, date someone you wouldn’t usually go for, make a scrap book, go on a picnic, relax in the sun, make your own home video, kiss the un-kissed, hug the un-hugged, love the unloved, and live your life to the fullest. So at the end of the day, you’ll have no regrets, no sorrows, no disappointments…

ps The Barolo Chinato glass is for my dear Monulu…!

  1. What a wonderful recipe for a frantic weekend of joy. I’m going to throw up my arms and laugh like a child, as though no one would call a doctor. It was good!! I might try dancing next. 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend.

  2. I was cleaning the house, washing cloth, cooking and baking and cleaning up again all day long… Everything is ready for a dinner party tomorrow-night with lovely friends. Now, I’m sitting here, resting, drinking a glas of wine (no Barolo I regret..) read your post and know absolutely what you mean by that!! Thank you Luana, its always such a pleasure reading your words and listening to your thoughts! Have a great weekend! Kiss and hug you, Bridget 🙂

    • Feeling the warmth of your words I feel so overwhelmed…My dear Bridget….I recognise the “weekend activities”…they take place in my ordinary life, too…you know… That’s life. Two sides…as the Moon…material..Spiritual…What matter most?? Who knows…
I send you this song…and a big (huge), sincere, HUG!
      KISS!

It was my Birthday song, a few days ago….
      🙂

  3. Oh yes, for sure! I already have the crayons out and I’m colouring my weekend picture in with a beautiful vase filled with fresh roses from the garden (they still have raindrops on them)…While I dream up a new recipe – something healthy with Greek inspiration! Wishing you a wonderful weekend filled with magic, light and continued birthday celebrations 😉 and a big hug for the little Prince!

    • I do envy you for the roses, my dear…also for the summer, the sunny days, and the cicadas creaking you’re on the way to enjoy…

      Bday celebrations?? enough with it….:)
Wish you a wonderful weekend too…and let me know how the story of the chocolate cake will end up…

      Hugs, Luana

  4. Good morning my dear from sunny UK! Monulu here again, can’t stay away…
Must say (again) how much I love the Daughter clips…you got everything in this post – including this “TO DO” list for the weekend…well it is Saturday morning, let’s go have our weekend and everybody regroup on Monday and see what items on the list have been done?! I think the easiest for me would be “eat the damn chocolate cake” ;-D

    • Good morning?? arghh…spent the morning with the assistance guys for my car…turned back at lunch….and now is (finally!!) raining my dear…
Want to prepare the perfect chocolate pudding….any suggestion from the UK?::)

      • The only suggestion I am able to give you is about eating that cake my dear…(not good at all at baking, me)…and I can tell you I want to eat it immediately! and maybe you want to share the recipe for that perfect chocolate cake?!!!

      • Oh my dear, IT IS indeed, the perfect chocolate cake….I’ll try to write down how I did it, be patient:::) Whatelse can I say?? It was a very “dark” and tasty breakfast….a wonderful experience. There’s not one healthy thing to say about it, apart from the fact it will probably make you smile once that you start eating it… and it’s proven smiling is good for ALL of us…:)

  5. From sunny UK as well
    Dear Luana,
great combination of text, pics and video clip. But it seems to me that this mood is quite female. As a man I feel somehow in another way and would it express differently – but nevertheless I like your post very much 🙂
And now I will eat the rich chocolate cake …
and do nothing this weekend (except bloody blogging 😉 )
    Love
    Klausbernd 🙂

    • Just turned back and found your funny comment…! I was supposed to have a little off road trip in the forest (like a contemporary Red Riding Hood, escaping from the wolf driving a Defender::) but the rain ruined my plan…
I do agree with you..the post is quite feminine…Shall I go in the kitchen and open a good red wine bottle?? Both masculine and feminine at the same time?? 🙂 I also want to prepare the famous chocolate cake(someone asked for)…or do you preffer a mind-blowing chocolate pudding?:) ( not so caloric) It’s moderately raining here…and I try to be “moderate”, too…
      🙂

let’s go take that red glass of wine….

      • To open a good bottle of red wine would be great, actually I would need that right NOW! Mind blowing chocolaste pudding, wow, that sounds great as well.
We had fine weather: sunny but rather cold, about 14 C and in the late evening a cold wind started to blow. But ideal weather for my garden – I am just helping my lawn to get greener next year 😉
        But first of all
        CHEERS

      • it doesn’t only “seem”…:) I love the wine and its secrets…actually also the power it seems it can give you…:)
I love pairing the wine with the food..and also with the humour…and I love the taste of certain wines lingering in my mouth…as a prologue, never “closing” but “opening” new worlds…

  6. Morning my Dior-wearing Little Red Riding Hood! Just thought I update you on my progress so far: managed to get my hair wet as it’s “pissing down” with rain…even did a quick dance in a muddy puddle – making sure nobody saw me 😉 …and I told Boris off for sleeping on the bed…but sadly I don’t have any chocolate cake in the house (does chocolate digestive biscuits count?)… I haven’t taken a nap in 20 years and I am the only person in the world who cannot do cartwheels… But I’ve still got the rest of the Sunday for the other things, don’t I?
